Data Protection Policy
Your privacy is important to us. This Personal Data Protection Policy sets out how Talents@Work Pte Ltd, (hereinafter as “Talents@Work”) complies with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (“PDPA”).
This Personal Data Protection Policy sets out:
how Talents@Work manages your Personal Data;
the types of Personal Data collect, use, disclose and/ or retain;
how Talents@Work collects, uses, discloses and/ or retains your Personal Data; and
the purpose(s) for which your Personal Data is collected, used, disclosed and/ or retained.
You agree and consent to us, Talents@Work, and our clients to collect, use and disclose and/ or retain your Personal Data in the manner set forth in this Personal Data Protection Policy
From time to time, Talents@Work may update this Personal Data Protection Policy to ensure that our Policy is consistent with developments and trends in the Labour Movement and/ or any regulatory changes. Should any revision(s) be made to this Personal Data Protection Policy, updates will be published on our public site (https://talentsatwork.sg/pdpa).
This Personal Data Protection Policy forms a part of the terms and conditions governing your relationship with us and should be read in conjunction with such terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). In the event of any inconsistency between the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Policy and the Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
1. Your Personal Data
In this Personal Data Protection Policy, “Personal Data” refers to any data and/or information about you from which you can be identified by, either (a) from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which we may have legitimate access to. Examples of such Personal Data include but are not limited to:
1. your name, NRIC, passport or other identification number, telephone number(s), mailing address, email address, and any other information relating to you which you have provided in any forms you may have submitted to use, or in other forms of interaction with you;
2. your photos;
3. your employment history, education background, and salary;
4. Personal Data of your family members, such as next of kin, spouses, and children (if required);
5. information relating to payments, such as your bank account number
6. information about your usage of and interaction with our website and/ or services including computer and connection information, device capability, bandwidth, statistics on page views, and traffic to and from our website
2. Collection of your Personal Data
Generally, we may collect your Personal Data through the following ways:
1. when you submit a job application to us;
2. when you engage us for job search arrangements;
3. when you respond to our request for additional Personal Data;
4. when you ask to be included in an email or other correspondence;
5. when you request that we contact you; and
6. when you submit your Personal Data to us for any other reason.
3. Purposes for the Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Your Personal Data
Generally, we may collect, use, disclose and/ or retain your Personal Data for the following purposes:
1. to manage your job application needs including recruitment, processing, and termination with us / our clients;
2. to provide you with employment and employability services;
3. to provide you with insurance coverage services;
4. to provide you with work pass application services;
5. to assist you with your enquiries;
6. to process payment for damages (if any);
7. to improve customer services, such as resolving complaints and handling requests and enquiries;
8. to conduct research, surveys, and interviews; and
9. to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Disclosure of your Personal Data
We may disclose your Personal Data to our clients for purposes mentioned above, subjected to the requirements of applicable laws:
1. From time to time, we may contact you via mail, electronic mail, telephone (call or SMS-Text), or social medial platforms, to inform you about our / clients’ job opportunities that we think may be of interest to you
2. hospitals, clinics, or insurance companies in connection with work pass application needs;
3. to provide you with insurance coverage services;
4. third-party service providers who provide services, such as telecommunications, mailing, information technology, payment, data processing, training, to Talens@Work;
5. relevant government regulators, statutory boards or authorities, or law enforcement agencies to comply with any laws, rules, guidelines and regulations or schemes imposed by any government authority;
6. your prospecting / previous employment companies for reference checks;
7. any other person in connection with the purposes set forth above.
5. Accuracy of your Personal Data
1. We take all reasonable measures to ensure that your Personal Data remains accurate, complete, and up to date.
2. You may also keep us informed when there are any updates to your Personal Data by contacting us directly.
6. Withdrawal of Consent
1. If you wish to withdraw your consent to any use or disclosure of your Personal Data as set out in this Personal Data Protection Policy, you may contact us via sarah@talentsatwork.sg and telvin@talentsatwork.sg.
2. Please note that if you withdraw your consent to any or all use or disclosure of your Personal Data, depending on the nature of your request, we may no longer be in a position to continue to provide employment and employability services to you.
3. Such a withdrawal may therefore result in the termination of any job application that you may have with us.
7. Storage and Retention of the Personal Data
1. Your Personal Data shall be stored either in hard copies or stored in servers located in or outside your country and operated by Talents@Work or its service providers in or outside your country.
2. Any Personal Data supplied by you will be retained by Talents@Work as long as necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes stated in above or is required to satisfy legal regulatory, accounting requirements or to protect Talents@Work’s interests.

Terms of Use Policy
This page states the terms and conditions under which you may use Talents@Work’s website (herein referred to as the “website”) including but not limited to the services, resume submissions, user conduct, information, text, images, links, graphics displayed herein (herein referred to as the “site materials”). Please read it carefully.
Your use of this website and any pages thereof indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions and forms a binding agreement between you and the website. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you may not use this website.
A. Talents@Work will be under no liability to users and recruiters in respect of any loss or damage (including consequential loss or damage) which may be suffered or incurred or which may arise directly or indirectly in respect of services supplied by Talents@Work.
B. Talents@Work accepts no responsibility for the content of any job notices as they appear on this site and candidates acknowledge that Talents@Work has no control over the quality, safety, or standard of positions advertised on this site or the truth or accuracy of the information contained in the job notices and that any illustrations or photographs displayed on this site are solely for the guidance of prospective candidates and are not to be relied upon.
C. Talents@Work will not be liable for any damages (including direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, and exemplary) in the event that this site is unavailable to users (by virtue of interruption, suspension, or termination) for any reason, including due to computer or communications link downtime attributable to malfunction, upgrades or preventative or remedial maintenance activities.
D. Talents@Work gives no guarantee of continued availability of any particular job and will not be responsible should a recruiter have filled the vacancy at any time.
E. Talents@Work will not be liable for any loss caused by a failure to complete an application.
F. Candidates expressly acknowledge that any use of information recruiters gain from job notices appearing on this site will be at the candidates’ own risk as Talents@Work accepts no liability for the accuracy or reliability of information contained within those notices.
G. These terms and conditions are subject to warranties and liabilities that cannot by law be disclaimed and Talents@Work’s liability for any breach of a condition in relation to supply by it of services to users and recruiters is limited to, at Talents@Work‘s option, supply of the services again, or the payment of the cost of supplying the services again.
H. All intellectual property on the Talents@Work site belongs to Talents@Work or its licensors, and users obtain no interest in that property.
I. Users warrant that all information they provide on the site is accurate, does not breach any law or the rights of any person. Users must not impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent their affiliation with a person or entity or forge any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any email or newsgroup posting.
J. Users acknowledge that Talents@Work may use all intellectual property in material provided by users throughout the world without restriction free of charge.
K. The users and recruiters agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
L. These terms and conditions are subject to change at the sole discretion of Talents@Work.
M. The users and recruiters acknowledge that all correspondence concluded on the Talents@Work site and all activities of Talents@Work are made and concluded in Singapore.
N. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore. The parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts exercising jurisdiction there.
O. Recruiters warrant that all information they provide on the site is accurate, does not breach any law or the rights of any person and recruiters acknowledge that Talents@Work may use all intellectual property in material provided by recruiters throughout the world without restriction, free of charge.
P. Talents@Work will not be liable for any damages (including direct, indirect, consequential, incidental and exemplary):
i) if a candidate is not given, or does not obtain a job for any reason;
ii) if there is any deficiency or inaccuracy in the site attributable to a lack of maintenance of the site;
iii) in relation to a notice or resume not appearing according to instructions; or
iv) in respect to services supplied by Talents@Work under these terms and conditions.
Q.Talents@Work may, at its discretion, refuse to accept for publication (or remove from the site) a notice or resume if it believes the notice or resume may infringe the rights of any person or may not comply with all the laws and regulations of Singapore.
R. Users and recruiters warrant that they have not relied on any representation made by Talents@Work which has not been expressly stated in these terms and conditions, or upon any descriptions, illustrations, or specifications contained in any document including publicity material produced by Talents@Work.
S. On lodging material with Talents@Work for publication on its site, users and recruiters indemnify Talents@Work and its officers, employees, and agents against any claim, demand, injury, direct or indirect damage, loss or cost, liability, right of action, or claim for compensation in contract, under statute or in tort (including negligence) made against or suffered by any of those indemnified arising, in whole or in part, as a result of:
i) the publication of the notice or resume; or
ii) any activity that is expressed in these terms and conditions to be the responsibility of the user or recruiter; or
iii) a breach of these terms and conditions.
T. Without limiting the application of paragraph R., users and recruiters shall indemnify Talents@Work, its officers, employees, and agents in relation to defamation, liability, slander of title, infringement of copyright, infringement of trademarks or names of publication titles, unfair competition, breach of Trade Practices or Fair Trading legislation, violations of rights of privacy, confidential information, licences, or other intellectual property rights.
